Hips
"The first Infratonic I bought, I gave to my friends'
boy who has Muscular Dystrophy. He had a hip pain that would
not stop. After using the Infratonic, the pain was gone. He
said that he does not use the Infratonic very much anymore because
he has very little pain."

"Hip pain subsequent to bicycle injury recurring with
exertion over twenty years. Applied (Mind) to illotibial band
of affected leg 3 times for twenty minutes. Immediate reduction
in discomfort - lasting reduction in severity of flare-ups over
2 years. Greater comfort in all areas."

"After walking on crutches for ten years, I had two hip
replacement surgeries in 1997 and 1998. At the same time my
1-1/2 year old granddaughter, who was born with no hip sockets,
had 3 surgeries and was in a full body cast for over six months
at about the same time. We both used the Infratonic; she one
week and me the next. I slept with machine (Mind) and did not
need any prescription painkillers or aspirin following surgeries.
I’m not sure how her mother used it, either through the
cast or on her head and feet.
Both of us healed more quickly than our doctors expected and
slept well without pain. With the cast holding her legs in the
proper position, Sophia’s body was stimulated to create
the proper sockets. I believe the QGM helped this process. I
now walk almost normally and take my dog on mile long walks.
Sophia is now six and runs and plays with other children."

"Patient with right hip replacement. 65 year old female.
Lots of anxiety regarding surgery and healing process. Began
treatment with QGM 6 hours after surgery (Mind) for 20 minutes.
Too painful to touch surgical area so rested the transducer
about 5” away. Patient gave herself treatment for the
next 3 weeks at surgery site, multiple times per day. She did
not have to take painkillers. She was released from the hospital
a day early.
She healed so quickly that she didn’t need to complete
the usual series of physical therapy treatments. She was so
thrilled with such speedy recovery, that she had the courage
to have her left hip replaced 6 months later. She did not have
access to the QGM this time and she experienced more post operative
pain, longer recovery time and still has some residual pain
8 months later. She would like to procure her own QGM now. What
a difference!"
Linda Dale, LMT, Brockings, OR
"Hip pain. 83 year old woman. Treated 3 times per week,
20 minutes (Body). More flexibility, less painkillers. Sleeping
better and can move around much easier."
Terry Tichota, Sandy Valley, NV
"My husband and I both have pain in our hips and sciatica.
We use the Chi QGM every night for about 1 hour each. It takes
away the pain over night. Also had back pain and neck pain.
That’s gone too. We use (Mind) on different parts of the
body for an hour each night. We also had a horse with a deep
cut on the front thigh. Used the QGM for about 15 minutes a
day for a week. It looked better the first day already."

"65 year old male with right hip replacement with an iatrogenic
surgical mishap, which damaged a major nerve to the lower leg,
producing desensitization and foot dropsy. Patient had a blood
clot in the thigh and severe edema throughout the right lower
extremity with pain and immobility, and low back and hip pain.
As a component of therapeutic care, the Infratonic was applied
to many areas of the swollen thigh, knee, lower leg and foot.
Except in the area of the blood clot, the transducer was placed
directly against the tissue. Sweeping was applied initially
over the entire body to introduce a sense of relaxation to the
tissues and to the nervous system.
Therapeutic deep tissue release and rehabilitative stretching
and mobilizing activities for the entire body were applied in
conjunction with the Infratonic, which was used on the affected
lower extremity. The combination of tissue release and the tremendous
effectiveness of the Infratonic in reducing edema and pain,
and increasing the body’s recognition of the work to be
done in healing an injury, produced so much relief for the patient
during the first day, and repeated on the second and third day,
that the patient responded with a grateful, “You’ve
given me my life back.” Integrating the Infratonic with
therapeutic tissue work and exercise as well as education of
what the patient can do to make life better increases the probability
of a more successful outcome under these circumstances."
